Chemicals must be added to a temperature of around 800 degrees Fahrenheit.
They add soap, water, and a catalyst. And on the of the magic we get rubber from this mixing. For stabilization of rubber to stop breaking and make them great they add stabilizer.

When becomes darker it’s time to replace the eraser.

Art erasers can last for a long time, but nothing lasts forever. When we use a kneaded eraser we pick particles of graphite that are absorbed by rubber and become part of the rubber.

To make them usable again we will stretch and knead it again until the color of the eraser become evenly.

But after picking all that graphite and charcoal particles it will become unusable with time, and it is time to replace it with a new one.

How do you know when to go for a replacement?

By color and marking on the paper.

Take reference to the new kneaded eraser and matched color, if it is very dark to the new one you should replace the eraser.
Also, you can try with clean white paper to press and lift a putty eraser, and if your marks on paper you should replace it.
